Save the Date - Saturday, Sept. 17th will be our 25th Annual Walk for Life in Owen Park! Plans have been made and we're looking forward to another great event. Save the Date cards and brochures will be mailed out in August. We'll be doing another YOUTH GROUP CONTEST and have already had the Whitehall Baptist group let us know they're coming!

Thursday, March 24, 2011 We were blessed to be the recipient organization of the Memorial Gifts that the family of Peggy VanZanten received in the past weeks. Peggy and Kevin have been faithful supporters to APPLE and Peggy chose APPLE. The Memorial Gifts totaled over $5000. What an incredible testimony to the way Peggy touched the lives of the people around her. Thanks to everyone who gave in this way. APPLE Pregnancy Care Center is blessed. Sanctity of Human Life Sunday is being remembered again. There's so much to say - APPLE continues to keep our doors open to help women, men and families in so many ways.
Melinda Delahoyde, President of Care-Net says this:
"Can you imagine what our nation might look like if every pro-life individual applied the full weight or his or her passion to reaching out with support and care to women facing crisis pregnancies? Not only would this radically reduce the number of abortions, it would also powerfully communicate the God-given value of human life. While we have limited opportunities to promote a 'culture of life' on legal and political fronts, there is no limit to what you and I can do to inspire life, one person at a time."

We had an incredible day on Sept. 18th with over 170 participants walking to raise funds for the APPLE PCC! The information on prizes, some really fun pictures, and thank yous have been given to our webmaster so you'll be seeing that very soon! The amazing news is that over $27,000 has been collected, receipted and deposited! Thanks to everyone who walked, donated, volunteered and made this event the best success ever. Blessings.

Thursday, June 24th, 2010 I love working at APPLE! I recently celebrated my one-year anniversary on staff, and I can’t tell you how many times I have told different people how much I love being here. One of the biggest blessings is seeing God at work in this ministry, seeing how He provides what is needed at just the right time. It is a common occurance to see staff members praying for the Center and for our clients. Last Monday, Georgette and I were spending part of our lunch break in prayer, and one of us asked that we would receive diaper donations since we were low on the larger sizes. The next day a huge donation came in from a local church which included numerous cases of much-needed diapers as well as other supplies. Later that afternoon, another donation came from a classroom that had had a unit on fetal development and then “spiritually adopted” our ministry. They threw a baby shower for us and brought in boxes of baby needs---what generosity, and what an example of Christ’s body! Sometimes we receive donations that contain larger sizes of clothing than we normally keep on hand (due to limited storage space), and somehow it is just what a client needs. Yesterday, we were able to give a new client a couple pairs of shoes for her older boys who needed them. Call that a coincidence if you like----we sure seem to have lots of them around here!
